Disconnect a QuickBooks company
Disconnecting withdraws Bravo's permission to post to that QuickBooks company. Bills and invoices already sent stay in QuickBooks.
From inside Bravo (recommended)
- Open Bravo and go to Administration › QuickBooks Online Settings.
- Find the company and click Disconnect, then confirm.
Bravo asks Intuit to revoke the token and deletes its stored copy, so nothing usable is left behind.
If you disconnected from inside QuickBooks Online (Apps › Disconnect), Bravo is not told. Its stored token simply stops working, and the next send fails saying the connection must be set up again. To tidy up, open the settings screen in Bravo and either disconnect there as well, or reconnect.
What happens afterwards
| Bills and invoices already in QuickBooks | Unchanged. Disconnecting removes nothing from your books |
|---|---|
| Bravo's record of what was sent | Kept, so documents already sent are never sent again |
| Stored sign-in token | Revoked at Intuit and deleted from the server |
| Sending to that company | Stops until it is connected again |
| The IIF export | Still available, exactly as before |
Moving a connection to a different company
Disconnect first, then connect and choose the other company. Bravo will not send a document to a different QuickBooks company than the one it originally went to.
