Connect or reconnect a QuickBooks company
Connecting happens inside Bravo, on the server where Bravo runs. There is nothing to sign in to on this website.
You need a QuickBooks Online administrator sign-in for the company being connected, and you must be working on the server where Bravo runs.
Steps
- Open Bravo and go to Administration › QuickBooks Online Settings.
- Find the company section you want and click Connect (or Reconnect).
- A browser window opens on Intuit's sign-in page. Sign in and choose the QuickBooks company to connect.
- Intuit confirms the connection in the browser. Return to Bravo and click OK.
- The section now shows the QuickBooks company name. Choose the accounts, item and terms for that company, then click Save.
Your QuickBooks password
Sign-in takes place on Intuit's own page. Bravo never sees or stores your QuickBooks user name or password. Intuit returns a token that authorises Bravo to post bills and invoices, and that token can be withdrawn at any time — see disconnecting.
When to reconnect
- Bravo reports that the connection is no longer accepted by QuickBooks.
- The company was disconnected from inside QuickBooks Online.
- You are moving a connection to a different QuickBooks company. Disconnect first, then connect again.
Reconnecting does not resend anything. Documents already in QuickBooks stay as they are, and Bravo still knows they were sent.
If connecting fails
- The sign-in page does not open — copy the address Bravo offers into a browser on that same server.
- "This QuickBooks company is already connected" — each connection must point at a different company. Check which company the other section is using.
- The browser cannot reach the page it returns to — the integration service may be stopped. Contact your Bravo administrator.
